It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..

A n I bought our first tree (artificial because I don't like the idea of cutting a tree/part of a tree just for decoration purposes) and set it up last weekend. It's a lott of fun to go tree shopping, buy ornaments and decorate the house with the tree and lights. It makes the whole house so beautiful and bright and makes the mood so festive. Loving it! We even set up a nativity scene -

 Nice ain't it? It reminds me of Golu during Navaratri. In the US, it's hard to celebrate Indian festivals in a really grand scale (since most of them end up on weekdays and you have to run to work). So I thought we might as well enjoy the cheer of the American holiday season and add our bit to it!! :) Fun fun!! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
